(Updated 4-14-08)
To become a Oneness Blessing facilitator, you take Level-1 training at the Oneness University branch in Fiji. This training requires 9-days in Fiji and upon completion, you are able to provide others with the Oneness Blessing. After an appropriate period of time, you can choose to go on to take Level-2 and Level-3 Ten-Day Deepenings at the Oneness University in Golden City, India.
We have just had our first run of American’s through the 9-day process in Fiji and will be reporting below some of their feedback on their experiences there.
Our first local facilitator has completed his Level-1 training in Fiji… His comments:
Hey Paul,
I greatly appreciate the service you have given to me and others in nurturing OB in Dallas …. I am profoundly grateful.
Blessings, Patrick
—–The political situation is stable and peaceful; the coup two years ago reduced corruption & government waste; the police are friendly, unobtrusive, and unarmed, and the people are happy.
—–Fijians are authentically friendly, graceful and dignified people.
—–The islands are a paradise with great natural beauty and benign climate.
—–There is no cultural dislocation or alienation as some people feel in Asia. English is the standard language.
—–Fiji is similar to the Caribbean islands in many ways, but the indigenous people are happier.
—–There is a bank and ATM machine in the Nadi airport.
—–We don’t need cash at the OB center; but you will sign a credit card authorization upon your arrival at the Oneness University for any expenses (but I don’t know that there is anything to be bought here apart from simple toiletries at the office).
—–Luggage: the 33lb limit is on Air Fiji; SunAir is 44lbs if you connect on Air Pacific or Qantas or Air New Zealand from Los Angeles.
—–All toiletry essentials are available at Nadi.
—–Some travel options (it’s pity to come so far and race straight back again): spend some time in Suva, a modern capital… add on vacation in outer islands, to the west of Viti Levu / Nadi… spend some time in Australia (Great Barrier Reef or Sydney) - 1500 miles to the southwest of Fiji… spend some time in New Zealand, 1500 miles to the south of Fiji.
—–The security is fine, the room is lockable.
—–Take a day-pack for convenience.
—–Insect repellent is helpful but is not essential.
—–Open Wi-Fi is available.
—–Cellphone reception is intermittent. (Note from Paul… you must sign up in advance with your cellphone company to be able to use your cellphone in foreign countries or they don’t work).
—–Relaxed clothing code. (Paul’s note… The dress code in India is somewhat restrictive due to cultural concerns).
—–No laundry service is provided; you must do it yourself.
—–No air conditioning in living units.
—–The air conditioning in the meeting room is sometimes too cold so take a shawl, light sweater or blanket.
—–The climate is warm and humid, with intermittent warm showers (like Houston) but with trade winds for air movement.
—–Healthy basic food is provided - salads, stir-fried vegetables, pasta, fruit and fish (no need to bring snacks).
—–Yoga in mornings is led by a sweet Sikh in a turban… but I don’t think he’ll be a permanent fixture.
—–In this first group, there are 120 participants: 65% are Tony Robins seminar people. (Paul’s note… Tony and his wife Sage are Oneness Blessing facilitators and Tony and Sage donated the land for the Fiji facility).
—–Organization and scheduling are excellent; plenty of efficient support people present.
—–Excellent sound and lighting system.
—–Utama gives hands on OB each evening (Paul’s note… Utama is a very powerful Awakened One)
—–Last night we had a rapture day and a "hug Deeksha" with a strong physical OB hug from Utama in his spastic, guffawing cosmic state. (Paul’s note… Utama is quite a wonderful and funny young man and his energy abilities are off-the-charts!).
—–There is no segregation of the sexes here as in India; it’s very relaxed and coed; couples can room, sit and eat together (but this may be a mixed blessing for the process).
Many Thanks to Patrick for sharing his thoughtful comments. As we find out more about this Fiji experience, that information will be posted here. We’re also hoping for some good photos to post as well. Check back often as we will continue to gather more information as time goes on.
On an additional note… this training and process is constantly evolving and changes happen with each training. With the passing of each training class, the process becomes easier and somewhat faster. It is dynamic in nature, after all.
