Hi Paul, Thanks again for the Deeksha last night.  It was amazing as usual.  I am really going through lots of crap right now… it’s amazing really.  All the insights are just incredible.  As I mentioned last night, I will be in New York City until mid-June.  [My husband] will be working in Manhattan for that period of time and we will be getting an apartment and living there.

I just checked the web site for listings in NYC and there aren’t many.  I’m surprised as I had my training with several guys from NYC but I don’t see them listed for hosting events.  Of course, you can always set up phone Deekshas with me while you are there… no worries!  If you do the phone Deeksha, both you and your husband can be on a speaker phone at the same time for the same donation.  I make the long distance call on my system so there is no phone charge for you.  If you are interested in that, just set an appointment with me for your session.  It takes about 1.5 hours, the same as if you were here at our weekly event. I’m very happy to hear about your mother’s great news.  We’re getting lots of wonderful feedback on successes with our Deeksha Healing Board.  Thanks for your input.  Namaste.

Thank you Paul.  I do this with a little hesitation.  Perhaps you can address my concern (which I’m sure is not unique)!  In my 20 years of being on the spiritual path, all of my gains in insight through books, meditation, life experiences and mentors (mostly my enlightened husband) have been through my own efforts.  I recognized the Truth that was given to me and made that shift in my consciousness.  Being of an independent spirit, I feel that I will reach enlightenment on my own with further work/blessings.  Being human, I still have a ways to go to overcome the fears, guilt and other ego illusions.  How do you answer people who want to know if they’re reaching unity consciousness through their own efforts or via an energy transfer?  I do support other forms of energy work for healing the physical and energy body, which allows me to consider Oneness Deeksha.  I guess some of us want to know we accomplished it “all by ourselves!”  Thanks for your consideration of this.

Paul’s reply:  Thank you for your most thoughtful concern.  First of all, I guess it depends upon your understanding of what “enlightenment” means.  In the worldwide Oneness Movement, we’ve gotten away from using that term as it has so many meanings to people from various cultures and spiritual paths.  We now say that the Oneness Deeksha (also known as the Oneness Blessing) provides you with a “flowering of the heart…” also referred to as “The Awakening.”  As you reach that level, you enter a permanent state of Grace and Bliss.  As I understand it, you can not reach “enlightenment” or “The Awakening” on your own.  It has to be given to you.

There are various spiritual paths which provide you with techniques and methodologies with the aim to quiet your ego and to guide you towards enlightenment.  The problem with those approaches (as I understand it) is the lack of permanence in your ability to maintain that state once you reach it.

You stated that:  “I recognized the Truth that was given to me and made that shift in my consciousness.”  That’s a great place to be, but recognizing or intellectualizing it and living it are two distinctly different experiences.  This is evidenced in your later statement:  “Being human, I still have a ways to go to overcome the fears, guilt and other ego illusions.”  The Oneness Deeksha creates a neurobiological “shift” in your primary brain function away from your parietal lobes (which creates perceptual duality) and over to the neo-cortex, particularly the left pre-frontal lobe (which creates perceptual oneness).  As this happens, you enter a permanent state of Grace (synchronicity) and Bliss (peace and joy).  There is no effort in this.  No meditating, praying, chanting, working at it, etc.  It just happens.  And it is permanent.  Creating this “shift” can not happen by anything that you can do for yourself.  No amount of technique or method can accomplish this shift on a permanent basis.  I understand your desire to accomplish it all by yourself but it is my understanding that it just doesn’t work that way.  You can reach a certain higher level of the experience, but it’s not permanent.  You have to keep “working at it” for the rest of your life.  You will always have to “fight the ego” at some level.  With Oneness Deeksha, you just get there and that’s it.  The shifts happen in your own time and as you are ready for them.  You become “the watcher” or “the observer” and you permanently live in Grace and Bliss.  No more fighting the ego.  When you enter that state of Grace, you stay there.  Bliss stays there.  You are no longer seeking happiness.  You live IN happiness!  I hope this answers your questions.  Namaste.

Paul, Wednesday had to be the most interesting time of all.  I did not feel I was of this earth until last night I started coming down.  I went to see [my friend] to help her in her move and she remarked that I looked so relaxed that it must have been a great evening.  Then I talked with [another friend] to tell him that he had missed a great evening - he said he could tell it in my voice.  But, yesterday when I got into the car to drive to work, although I felt I was not a danger to myself, I really felt I did not belong to the earth.  However, when I ate last night I started being more grounded.  It was great.  Anyway, it was a joyous and perfect evening.  Also, I want to sign up for the next Intensive…  although I think we got an intensive Wednesday night!  THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE!  Love…

Paul’s reply:  Many Thanks for your comments.  I’m glad that you had an interesting experience.  I’ve heard of many others with similar stories.  What matters most are the perceptual shifts that come as the Oneness Deeksha settles in to create the change in primary brain function.  I know from our conversations that you have had these shifts going on for quite some time now.  You are growing ever closer to your own Awakening.  You have been quite dedicated in following up with ever more Deekshas so that it happens faster for you.  In that dedication, you have received many blessings.  I know that I will see you again soon.  Namaste.

Paul, Really not much to tell.  I asked for healing and the next day [Saturday], I was a little under the weather.  By Sunday, the symptoms were worse… headache, ear ache and sore throat.   Usually when this starts, I go to the doctor, however, I knew that I was just processing and by Monday all the symptoms were gone.  I felt better. So I got what I asked for.

Paul’s reply:  What more could one ask for?  Glad you’re better now.  Sometimes the processing can be a bit trying, but it always passes.  Namaste.

Hi Paul, Thanks for your kind e-mail! … Yes, Friday night was my second experience of Deeksha, and they were both very pleasant experiences!  What I noticed is that I did so much better during your session, because of the fact that you did a wonderful guided meditation before we started, and that was extremely helpful!  With Bhavani and Buddha, I felt it was more of an advance level session, where we jumped into the real stuff right away!

I am still working on keeping my focus for such long periods of time … To be honest, I have been meditating on and off for the past few years, and the best I can do is about 30 minutes of “quality” meditation!  I am getting much better indeed as time goes on! Respectfully…

Paul’s reply:  As I say on our website, each event will be a new and different experience.  I’m glad that you had the opportunity to experience both group events.  With Bhavani and Buddha on Friday night, we had seven Oneness Blessing facilitators there for the first time in Dallas and the energy was definitely “amped up” for the evening.  Many have commented on this experience.  As far as your ability to focus goes, the (ancient) mind is constantly trying to control you; to get your attention and it just “pops in” whenever it can… the technique called “meditation” is generally to try to quiet that mind from its constant meandering.  The fact that you can get about 30 minutes of the “quality time” is wonderful.  I would suggest for the time that your mind is no longer quiet, try just becoming “the watcher” or “the observer” without judgment over the content of the thoughts… just be mindful that you are having those thoughts… as you receive more and more Oneness Blessings, those thoughts will continue to lessen and to quiet down.  They are not fully gone, just quieted down… Being able to just observe those thoughts with no emotion (charge) attached to them is a real blessing, and it’s on its way to you now since you’ve started receiving the OB.  Just keep after it and the “chatter” in your mind becomes replaced with causeless love and joy in your life.  I hope to see you again soon.  Namaste.
