Hi Paul, Thanks so much for your email. I was very glad to have the chance to attend the Deeksha Intensive. During the Intensive, I felt some subtle tingling the first couple of times that you gave me Deeksha, and I was having a very hard time staying in my body during the entire day. Because of this, I had a terrible headache, but this is not the first time that this has happened to me. Whenever I’ve been in intensely spiritual environments, I always want to leave my body, and I get headaches/nausea trying to stay grounded. During the invocation of the Divine, and during the first few Deekshas that you gave, I was intensely emotional and had tears pouring down my face. So, during the Intensive, I would say that I felt a lot.

Since the intensive — well, I’m not sure. I always have very intense dreams and those have continued. Nothing new there. And many of these dreams are spiritual and/or prescient in nature. And none of these has diminished.

I’ve always been very kind to others, even when they weren’t kind in return, and I’ve always done my best to shower others with light and forgiveness. And while I’m still doing this, I have noticed that I’m not nearly as patient with those who try to harm me. In the past, I was much too passive — always trying to give others the benefit of the doubt. However, I think that this “way of being” harmed me. So, I’ve been working on myself the past couple of years, doing my best to be more assertive and standing up for myself.

Since receiving Deeksha, I’m finding myself almost refusing to take any kind of negativity off of anyone. I’m still kind and nice, but if I have to get firm or even raise my voice, I’m not finding any problems doing so. So, I don’t think I could say that I’ve become more mellow.

I do find myself wanting to only be in light-filled surroundings, and while this has been the case during most of my life, I’m finding these feelings to be more intense. However, since I am seldom in light-filled situations, I’ve just decided to create my own light-filled bubble wherever I am. And as long as nobody tries to hurt me, I could probably be described as being “mellow.” As for the accepting part, I’ve always been very accepting of others, unless they’re very [political] — then, I just try to ignore them (which, over the years, hasn’t been easy). Even before taking Deeksha, I had been working on forgiving different people who had harmed me greatly. And since receiving Deeksha, I’ve been thinking more and more about just letting go of the hurt, and to a great degree, I think it’s working.

With regard to challenges, they’re always there. This lifetime has been filled with challenges. So, I approach them like I always do — the best I can. If anyone has noticed a change in me, they haven’t said anything; although, the other day, a clerk actually thought I was 18 years younger than I am. Can Deeksha do that for ya? Any way, thanks for checking in with me. And thanks again for the Deeksha.

Paul’s reply: The headaches you speak of early in your email are not unheard of, although very few people seem to have them. You seem to have a good handle on it all. Experiencing tears during your receiving of Deeksha is, again, normal. Some people will simply tear up, while others may let loose with a torrent of tears. Some others may snicker, while still others may laugh out loud. In India, during an intense session of Deeksha with the Cosmic Beings [dasas or monks for the oneness movement] one woman actually broke into a maniacal laugh. Others there would laugh hysterically, sometimes for over an hour without stopping. Still others may enter a state where they can not move or speak for a period of time. Some may experience anger or anxiety. All of these emotional expressions are just your body processing and usually leave after a short period. I want to be clear here, though, that most who receive Deeksha don’t “feel” anything at the time… or even later. But that doesn’t mean that the Deeksha is not working for them. I was one who never feels anything during the Deeksha, but boy… Do I get results in a hurry! For most people, results just “trickle in” like a time-release. We are all different and are all coming from a different space than each other so we all get what we are ready for in our own way and in our own time. Patience pays! Of course, you can choose to repeat Deeksha as that tends to speed up the process for you. But the choice is yours. Follow your heart.

As far as making you look 18 years younger than you are… well… I dunno. Perhaps you released some things that had been bothering you which created wrinkles, an ashen color, etc. Or not. I have no real good answer on that one! Thanks for your thoughtful remarks. I hope to see you again soon at Deeksha! Namaste.

Paul, Thanks for the e-mail. I have been to three Deeksha Group meetings now, in addition to the private session I had with you in July. I definitely feel that Deeksha is where I am supposed to be right now. I have felt more peaceful and clear minded as a result, and also more self aware… more being the witness. Right now I seem to be in a confused sort of state… feeling like things are sorting out and settling. I think it is a result of the Deeksha but it is kind of unsettling… hard to explain.

Also, I am thinking of scheduling a private session with you for Healing Deeksha. I do a lot of yoga and suddenly seem to have something going on in my shoulders, my lower back and right hip. I’m thinking the Healing Deeksha energy might be the thing. I look forward to hearing from you and I will see you on Thursday night. Namaste…

Paul’s reply: What you are experiencing is just your processing. As you receive the transformational energy shift through the gift of Deeksha, your body and consciousness will shift too. We often have to let go of the “old” to make room for “the new.” Although these experiences can sometimes be unsettling, they will pass. Have patience and become “the watcher” to it rather than trying to control it. Again, it will pass.

Using Deeksha for healing is a wonderful way to deal with physical, emotional and relationship issues. Sometimes it works in one session, sometimes it takes several. It’s all according to what you’re ready for. You get what you get in your own time. Thanks so much for your thoughtful comments. Namaste.

Paul, I thoroughly enjoyed speaking to you about your experiences over the years and hanging out at the CSL. I have yet to really notice any spiritual or mental shift in myself lately, but I have learned to be patient with the Cosmos. I wish I had the money to try and retry different approaches to self healing, but lately don’t. I am totally open to whatever suggestions you may have for me; I am still interested in doing hypnotherapy but need time to make sure I can afford it. I found it interesting that the AAHHH and OM sounds were used in the meditation… Thanks Paul, talk soon…

Paul’s reply: I’m glad you were able to make it to our group Deeksha at CSL. I know your work schedule is very busy and makes it difficult to do so. It’s not been long since you received your initial Deeksha and for many, it takes weeks or sometimes even months before noticeable changes start to appear. Have patience. The changes will happen, regardless. As far as having money to pursue various healing modalities, have patience. In several years, those who have received even one Deeksha will find themselves being able to spontaneously give Deeksha, both for The Awakening AND for Healing. No training will be required. It will just happen. And it will happen for everyone by June of 2012. Blessings abound!

When you are ready to discuss quickly changing your life with hypnosis, just give me a call. There is never a charge for telephone consultations. By doing this, you can figure out what you want to do and what it will cost. It’s after you have a plan that you can then set about making it happen, but you have to take the first step.

The Aahhh and Ommm sounds you refer to are verbally toned during the opening of the Agnea [Third-eye] Chakra. It’s Aahhhh, Ohhhhhh, Oooommm. This is ancient Sanskrit and it creates a resonant frequency which then opens [or clears] the Agnea Chakra [between your eyebrows]. I often feel a very strong vibration in my Agnea center when I do this. Glad you found it interesting. I hope you will be able to join us again soon. If your schedule conflicts, you may want to receive either phone Deeksha or Private Deeksha in my home. Regardless, Many Thanks for your comments. Hang in there! Namaste.
