Paul, During the hands-on part of Deeksha this week, I once again felt the oneness electricity flowing through my hands. I’m not sure when, but at some point during this, I was instructed to clear my third-eye chakra with hand sweeping. This hand sweeping included two other areas that I don’t remember, possibly the sides of my neck.

Then at another point, I was instructed to place my right palm up. As I did this, it felt like something was growing in my hand. It was a glowing, golden ball, about the size of a softball. I could feel the weight of it in my palm. With my eyes closed, I studied the ball and questioned, “What is this?” Amma and Bhagavan appeared in my mind’s eye, they were laughing and smiling at me. It felt like two joyful grandparents showing their grandchild a new toy. “What do I do with it?,” I asked. They laughed, Bhagavan said, “Give it away!” and we all laughed. “Ah ha,” I said, “You are showing me your power.” We laughed together, and then they both asked, without words, “Do you accept it?” I became overwhelmed with gratitude and giggle tears, all I could say was, “Yes, yes, thank you, thank you,” repeatedly for several moments.

Amma and Bhagavan interrupted my giggle tears with gentle smiles and instructions on how the ball worked. Following their encouragement, I experimented. I brought the ball up to my third-eye chakra and pressed it into my forehead, swoosh, it tingled and flowed through my body, feeling so full, I exited my skin, feeling no skin at all. I then put my hand on my crown chakra, feeling gentle oneness energy flow through my body. I smiled, then reached my hand out again. I could feel the weight of the ball growing, so I put my other hand out beside it. The ball grew, filling up both hands. It grew to the size of a basketball when the class call to rest on the floor appeared. As my hands moved to pick up my chair, the ball went away.

Lying on the floor, the lessons continued, ending in a fun way when Amma and Bhagavan playfully showed me how to throw balls over my shoulder and into my back. I was amused, yet suddenly felt very tired and placed my head down to rest. I became aware of my breathing, it was very deep and slow. I breathed in slowly, yet felt no need to breathe out. At some point I breathed out, but felt no need to breathe back in. This feeling of very slow oneness breath, as natural flow, went on for a few moments. I thought it was odd, so I observed that the time between each part of the breath was about 10 seconds. I roughly counted this the last couple of times because I was curious. I do remember thinking that the body felt equally alive, regardless of breath, and that breath was not necessary to be alive. In other words, life and death are the same, as equal and eternal illusions. What joy to be this.

Since experiencing play-time with Amma and Bhagavan, I frequently sense their presence. They project a very warm, blissful, caring, nurturing and protective feeling. I see them, feel them, and hear them. Oneness energy in people costumes, sweet! Thank you for these gifts dear loving presence, Divine One.

This was my second Deeksha and one thing I’ve noticed is that I get the munchies afterwards. That’s okay, I can work that into my diet, but does anyone else get the munchies afterwards?

I look forward to Deeksha next week. I have no specific expectations regarding the experience, yet I have complete faith that I will receive exactly what I need. In this quiet space of receptive and open heart, I expect miracles. Yee Haw! Namaste!

Paul’s reply: I actually saw you do some of these things. While giving Deeksha, I open my eyes when moving from one person to the next and I was wondering what was going on with you. It is not uncommon for people to experience Amma-Bhagavan in many ways… some see them, talk to them, hear them, feel their gentle love, feel their compassion, play with them (they are very playful and fun), etc. Seeing and experiencing the Golden balls of light is also experienced by many. When peeking during Deeksha, some have reported seeing the golden balls of light enter our crown Chakras as we give the Deeksha. Some have also seen us consumed in the flowing liquid golden light. Again, you are very sensitive and open to these things. Many can experience these things if they are open to them. For those who do not experience these things, it does not mean that the Deeksha is not working for them. There are over six billion people on the planet and there are over six billion different experiences in receiving Deeksha. As you have aptly noted in the last two weeks, each week the experience is different for you. Some don’t feel or see anything and that is just as valid as your sensate and sensitive experiences. There is no one way that is more “correct” or more “effective” than any other. Each person’s experience is valid for them. Just be light about it and have fun with it. There is nothing to do, there is only to be. Know that you can talk to Amma-Bhagavan whenever you want to. You can’t “wear them out” with questions or requests. They are there for you so use them. That’s why they are there… to assist you in your journey into “The Oneness!”

With regard to the “munchies” question, I’ve not yet heard that from others, but often people keep to themselves rather than sharing. Since you’re undergoing an increase in your energy body by receiving Deeksha, it would make sense that you might require more nourishment on a physical level too. It’s all OK. Don’t be surprised if it passes. Our movement into the Flowering of the Heart is a journey with many paths… Yours is but one. Namaste.

Hi Paul, Thank you again for the opportunity for the Vara Deeksha via the phone with such short notice. Like I said I was doing a physical “detox” that weekend and it seemed like a Vara Deeksha would fit in well with the “detox” theme…

The Vara Deeksha was great. The whole phone call was very pleasant! You bring a lot of integrity to your work. In regards to the after effects of the Vara Deeksha… things are going well in the area that we worked on… the Deeksha energy creates such a softening within that you’re able to just relax into a different place inside and subsequently you can look outward with new, wiser eyes. I’m so glad I’m turned onto Deeksha since it is a powerful energy that is so accessible for transformation. I’ll be back for more of what Vara Deeksha has to offer I’m sure. Much Love to you…

Paul’s reply: As you have found out, doing phone Deeksha is just as powerful as doing in-person Deeksha. I know that most folks prefer to have the “hands on their heads” type, but they both work equally well. This is especially beneficial when you live far away like you do or when schedules don’t work out well for in-person sessions.

The Vara Deeksha (for healing) is a great way to move past illness, dis-ease, mental or psychological and relationship issues. As you have found out for your own issue, it works very well. I’m happy that you had a quick response to the Vara Deeksha for your specific concern and that you’re so tuned in to what your body and mind are experiencing. As you now know, you’re well on your way to your own “flowering of the heart” transformation. Thanks much for your kind and thoughtful words. Much Love back at ya’! Namaste.

Paul, I enjoyed the group Deeksha event last week, and plan to do more. Because I work on Saturdays, it is hard for me to do your Saturday Deeksha event. I would consider doing it on a Sunday. I work till 8PM on Thursdays, so on slow work days, I will try to attend Deeksha events then.

During the Deeksha, I felt swirling energy from my root chakra into my abdomen, which is a problem area for me. I also felt pressure at my forehead and crown chakra. The next couple of days I had a low grade headache.

I am a massage therapist, and the first massage I gave, the next day, the client said the massage was spiritual.

The night of the Deeksha, or the next night, I had a dream that I was massaging a client, and it was remarked that I was massaging the Mind.

I have studied a lot of energy techniques the past 5-10 years, and just recently I have gotten better and deeper when I meditate. I usually see brilliant purple, blue and yellow in tunnel-y clouds. The colors are similar to the colors in chakra charts. I also do energy work on myself all the time, just because it feels great. I primarily do still points in many kinds of ways and somehow direct energy with my mind to places within my body. So a lot of this is not new to me, but I see Deeksha could take me further on my spiritual journey.

Paul’s reply: Thanks for sharing your Deeksha experience. It always helps you with processing when you formalize your experience through writing.

I’m glad you enjoyed your Deeksha experience. I’m sorry you can’t make the Saturday One-Day Deeksha Intensive but I certainly understand. One solution to your scheduling problem would be if you could sponsor a Sunday Deeksha event in your home or the home of a friend. All that’s required is that you have 5 or more friends attend who will provide a Love Offering. The person sponsoring (in this case, you) is not asked for a Love Offering because of the effort you expend in putting it together. Others have done this in the past and continue to do so on an occasional or regular basis. Just a thought…

Many experience the energy of the Kundalini. This is quite normal for some. A few have reported headaches as well but they leave after a while. Again, this is just processing. We all process in our own way. We’re moving energy around and these things can happen. Most will not experience this, however.

With regard to your giving massage, other’s have reported similar experiences. The energy in you is changing and transforming… and blessings and miracles often surround the Deeksha experience. Of course, the purpose of Deeksha is to take you a long way in a short time on this life’s spiritual journey! Hang in there. It just gets better and better and better! I hope to see you again soon at Deeksha. Namaste.
