Paul, I am going to come to Deeksha tonight, and I am really looking forward to it. I LOVED it the first time. It is very hard to describe, but I really enjoyed it. I did notice the first time after my Deeksha, that I started to do some healing work on a client, that my connection to the Divine did seem to be more focused into the middle of my brain, I saw a very white ball of energy, kind of behind my forehead in the middle. Very interesting. I will see you tonight! Have a great day!
Paul’s reply: Thanks for your comments. Everyone who experiences Deeksha has a different experience… and we all get what we get and in our own time. The “behind the forehead and in the middle” is what Deeksha is about. It’s an actual neurobiological shift in primary brain function away from the parietal lobes (left-right hemispheres) and into the neo cortex to connect with “The Oneness” of Divine Presence and it brings Grace and Bliss. It’s working! Glad you enjoyed Deeksha. I hope to see you often as repeating Deeksha speeds up the process. We are, after all Americans! We all want everything yesterday! No problem. Just keep after it and it all gets better and better! Thanks again. See you again soon. Namaste.

Paul, I was happy to meet you and happy we have Deeksha available within a 2 hour drive. Receiving Deeksha from you was very powerful for both myself and my husband. This was my husband’s first Deeksha. I have been receiving Deeksha since January. I received Deeksha every day for 7 days and some days 2x’s, from 2 friends. That was my introduction and I suffered migraines nearly every day. I also had a migraine for 2 days after your Deeksha and my husband too had a headache for a couple of days and he NEVER has a headache. I do not consider this a disappointment. I actually try to welcome it and open into it. It has been explained to me that Deeksha can open up the blood vessels in the brain. The migraines are different in that it travels all around my head, not staying in one place like it has done for years. So there is a difference and yet the pain is the same… intense! When the migraine dissolves I notice a weightlessness, floating, expanding, more of a willingness to meet everything, all of life, just as it is, with more awareness and more opening, living moment-to-moment, less resistance and more often aware of my breath and the breath of us all. Sometimes I notice nothing and sometimes very subtle changes. Sometimes different and always just as it is. Truthfully, I would have to say that this is the best I can describe IT, because there really are no words to describe IT. I don’t know what this is called nor does it matter to me. Also, my experiences vary. It is my prayer when I receive Deeksha to be empty, open and willing to receive the Grace of God to serve in the highest good of all.
Sharing a bit about enlightenment. For me, the word enlightenment is just that, a word. I personally can fall into traps so easily and throughout my life have been so eager to compare. Now I try to honor my own experience and what I know in my heart. I wonder if the eagerness, the wanting enlightenment can actually end up being what keeps us from it? I enjoy hearing about others experiences and honor the beauty of their experience and yet am cautious to not compare my experience to theirs. It may be similar and it may be entirely different—we all know deep in our hearts our awakening. Just recently, I am discovering that this life of mine is not about me, but about the liberation, awakening of all sentient beings. How can I serve the Greater Good for this to happen?
About India. Yes, I am very serious about attending in October. Any information, suggestions you would like to share with me would be deeply appreciated. Possibly will see you next week for Deeksha. If not then it will be mid-to-end of June. I will be out of town, with friends, receiving Deeksha daily for a week. Yum! Thank you for your gifts, your big open heart and your service to the world. Much Love…
Paul’s reply: First, about the headaches. As you had mentioned, you have a history of migraines while your husband does not have a history of headaches in general. While having headaches after receiving Deeksha is not unknown, it is rather rare. It’s just a way that your husband’s and your bodies have chosen to “process” what is going on. Again, this is quite rare. But you made the connection that it wasn’t a negative for you… and you’ve recognized that it’s just the processing going on. Further, you knew that whatever processing you experience, it’s short lived and will go away. It’s also noteworthy that regardless of your processing experience, you’re still considering going to India for the 21-Day Process in October! With regard to your other experiences, we all have our own way of experiencing the after-effects of Deeksha. And they’re all OK and appropriate for us.
With regard to the word “Enlightenment,” that seems to have different meanings for each of us so in India, we’ve been taught to move away from that word and instead refer to the end result of the Deeksha process as being “The Awakening.” I think you are most wise to honor other’s experiences while not comparing your own to theirs. We do, after all, each have our own experiences around the process. Further, I think you are most accurate when you’ve observed that this life is not so much about us as individuals, but about the liberation and The Awakening of all sentient Beings. To serve this Greater Good, just do what you do. If that includes going to India, then so be it. For others, it may just be keeping after Deeksha until they’ve reached “The Flowering of the Heart” (also known as The Awakening) so that they add to the Collective Oneness resonance on this planet. There are many ways to serve. It’s all up to you and what you feel in your heart.
With regard to more information, shortly I will announce a Saturday morning get-together at my home in Plano with those who are seriously considering going to India. We will see a video, some photos and have a Q&A. No donations on this one… just sharing of information to help you with your decision. I hope that you and your husband will be able to attend. And I hope to see you again soon at group Deeksha or at our One-Day Intensive. Namaste.

Paul, I felt so much better after last week’s Deeksha. If you recall, there was an issue that had been causing me a lot of emotional pain and I surrendered the handling of it to God through Bhagavan and Amma during Deeksha. I felt an immediate sense of calming and relief that has stayed with me. Thank you so much for your help.
I have registered for a Deeksha seminar in Chicago on July 22-23 [2006] with Ron Roth and Dr. Christian Opitz – Enlightened Spiritual Healing: the Heart Brain Connection. Are you going by any chance? Perhaps some of the others on your mailing list would be interested. Details can be found at www.RonRoth.com under events. Love and Blessings…
Paul’s reply: I’m glad you were able to effectively surrender and let go of the problem. You know, “let go and let God.” And I’m always glad to help in any way that I can.
While I will not be attending the Chicago event, I am passing the information on to all in my Deeksha contact list. Thanks. I know I’ll see you again soon! Namaste.

Paul, I really enjoyed having Deborah with us last Wednesday. I have noticed that I have wanted to be a bit quieter this week which I feel is just more processing. Blessings…
Paul’s reply: I’ve known Deborah Peyton since sponsoring my first Deeksha event in Dallas early last December. She is a blessing to us all. Thanks for your comments and I’ll be sure to pass them along to her. Also, the “being a bit quieter” this week is serenity. Keep after your Deeksha and you’ll get that serenity more and more in your life until it’s the way you are on a daily basis. It’s one of the many Blessings of Deeksha. Namaste.
